International Week Culminates With Food Festival for Regis Community
Regis this week celebrated its annual International Week with special activities and events during community time and after school. The week culminated with a "Wear Your Culture" grub day and a food festival in the cafeteria made possible by our generous parent volunteers.
Leaders of school's cultural clubs collaborated with Director of Belonging, Dignity, and Justice Ms. Belkise Dallam to plan the week's slate of events.
"International Week is such a special time here," said Mateo Juan '25, who helped plan this year's events. "Regis is already so diverse, and so it's really an opportunity for us to come here and learn about each other's cultures, and celebrate one another, and have a shared meal."
In addition to the food festival that capped the week, students heard morning prayers in a different language each day and played Kahoot games during lunch periods to test their linguistic and geographic knowledge.
