Regis Celebrates Feast of the Immaculate Conception

On Wednesday, December 8, the Regis community gathered in celebration of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. Joining together for Mass at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, students, faculty, and staff commemorated the blessed life of the Virgin Mary, born free from original sin.

Fr. James P. Ferus, SJ, presided over the Mass as the main celebrant, and was joined on the altar by Fr. Arthur C. Bender, SJ ’67 and Fr. Anthony D. Andreassi, C.O. Students Alex Phillip ’22 and David Ordonez ’22 served as readers, and Toby Platt ’23 and Justin McCarthy-Hill ’23 offered petitions.
